She’s not the kind of girl you want to take home to mommy, that’s for sure. She grew up a spoiled brat, and remains one to this day. She knows money is power and she likes to flaunt what she’s got. Her personality is like a three-way mix. She’s got the good side of her, the bad side of her, and then the side of her that’s a mix of the two. Her bas side has always been dominant, but don’t be surprised if you see her walking around more than silent and seeming a little distressed. Angel likes to party, she likes to dance, she likes to be wild, and she liked living without morals. She liked watching people fight because she screwed around d with their yin and yang. She’s a bad kid… and she always will be. Let’s focus on her good and bad side, yes? Because you will see these two sides of her come out on several occasions. Let’s start with Yin because her Yin side doesn’t come out half as often as her Yang side does. Yin is the quieter side of the girl, the one that contemplates on everything Ange has ever done and carries the burden of it. Yin is quiet and quite easy to manipulate so take advantage of her when Yin is present… it can totally make your day. As for her Yang side? That’s a totally different story. Yang is bad, has no sense of right and wrong, and does whatever the hell she wants to do. She’s over confident to the point where she’ll challenge someone five times stronger than she is to prove a point. She’ll steal candy from small children or rob a bank if she deems it fit. Yang also likes to be in control… of everything. She’s more than a little controlling and this builds up her arrogance. She’ll shun you if she thinks you’re below her and talks high and mighty of herself. Yang is also extremely mean, she knows exactly how to make it hurt and will rub salt in the wound. Angel on her own is Wild, like I said, and charming. She can talk her way out of most troubles and even finds time to flirt. She’s talkative and can almost seam sweet if you didn’t know her reasons behind it. All of her is easily manipulated but she’s mastered the fine art of manipulating others. She’s also very good at defending herself and had taken mixed martial arts classes as a child. Angel is a force to be reckoned with. She’s the bad ass Bruce Wayne except female and has super powers. [/scrolly] THE SKILLS Ten years of mixed martial arts training has seriously amped this girl physical stamina and strength. She may look soft but she’s anything but. She doesn’t cook or clean so don’t expect her to make you a sandwich or tidy up your mess. This girls got charm and can lie without thinking twice. She’s perfect for anything undercover, but don’t count on her not to mix things up for you. She’s a loc k-pick and I’m sure there isn’t a door in the world that she can’t open. She drives a motorcycle and loves the freedom and danger that comes with it every time she drives it. She works on it herself, and it’s the only time you’ll see her down and dirty in anything. Her weapon of choice is a staff that has two hidden blades which are only visible when the staff is split into half. THE MUTATIONS Yin and Yang Manipulation Yin Powers: -Ability to heal wounds and sicknesses -Can absorb/Manipulate the Yin (good) energies in the air/in people -Splits her Personality to be morally good making her Quiet, Shy, and Easy to Manipulate Yang Powers: -Can be manifested into an Energy blast to strike down foes. Blast size varies to how much Yang energy is in their air, The blast carries at roughly 70 km/h. When coming on impact ona anything (Object or Person) Object explodes from compressed pressure, but does not burn -Can Absorb/Manipulate the Yang (Bad) Energies in the air/In people -Splits her personality to be morally bad making her Controlling, Confidant, and mean Angel has the ability to manipulate positive and negative energy. She uses it to pull energies out of the environment, or induce "yin-dominant"(good) behavior or "yang-dominant"(bad) behavior. She can use yin energy to heal or rejuvenate allies or use yang energy to blast or strike Enemies. This ability, however, splits her personality into three parts. Her normal self, yin dominant personality and yang dominant personality. All three are unqie but chare one trait of being easily manipulated into tasks. Also if Yang is dominant, Yin powers cannot be used, and if Yin is dominant, yang powers cannot be used. Children have a serious affect on this ability because they are innocent and Morally good until they reach a certain age. Angel avoids children at all costs because of the affect they have on her power. Extreme exhaustion also causes her power to be inactive. Depending on the injury effects the amount of energy she has to put into healing it. Major injuries she can heal over a span of days using only a certain amount of energy, but a small injury can be healed in a few hours with a lot of energy used. She usually tries to weasel her way out of healing, but takes it seriously and if someone she generally like sis hurt, she’ll put her all into making them better. THE WEAKNESSES Extreme Exhaustion can seriously limit what Angel can do. Having built up Stamina helps, but healing is what usually rains her. Major wounds are what takes the most out of her. People with an extremely strong sense of moral goodness affects her ability to use her Yang manipulation powers and she strongly dislike that. Children can cause her powers to be inactive as long as they’re around because the are innocent and are morally good until they reach the age prime for corruption. She has a fear of death and dying, so she avoids the topics at all costs. Her worst fear is her fear of bees. She’s not allergic but they scare to her to an extreme extent. Their stings are painful and she has nightmares of a swarm of bees coming and stinging her to death. She has no idea where the dream came from, but she has a tendency to avoid bees, death… and honey. THE HISTORY Angel was brought into this great earth Seventeen years ago by two parents that could care less about her. Both were too busy with work and getting paid and sleeping with other people to care about her. Lucky for her they hired someone to take care of her. They could do that, they had cash. Angel was brought up with a proper education, even though she never went to school. She grew up with a Manny instead of a nanny. He was the biggest influence in her life, and he had a rather good sense of right and wrong… so where did he go wrong? I’ll tell you in a little bit. Moving on, Angel was raised by this Manny and taught at a higher level than most kids. He also was the one to train her in mixed martial arts. Where he went wrong was trying to teach her about morals, and about right and wrong. Angel absorbed the bad, but denied the good. She didn’t think that being good would help anybody at this point in life. When Angel got to the age of Ten her parents fired the Manny. They didn’t see the point on keeping him around since Angela could take care of herself. Little did they know she was going out… and taking to the streets rather than living the good life at home. She messed around on the streets with kids she had no business messing with, and they got her into something that gave her, her little ability. They were breaking into a building to steal whatever was inside for fun, but it didn’t go as well as planned. There was a bin of something liquid in the building and while messing around it was knocked over, onto Angel. Nobody knew what it was, but it made Raven feel extremely strange. It seeped into her skin, it did something to her that made everyone else run away… leaving her to get home on her own. When she did, she had one of the staff help her bathe, get the stuff off of her, to help her. It took hours before they got the gunk off of angel, and by then a good portion of it had soaked into her skin, leaving an assortment of scars on her body. It wasn’t until the next day did she discover what the chemical spill had done to her. She could feel the good and bad energy in the air, although there was way more bad than good. She absorbed it, it energized her, it made her smile. She found herself wanting more, and that’s when her wild and rebelliousness kicked in. Her charm was inherited through her parents, but her lock pick skill was developed over the years of breaking and entering to feel a rush. Angel partied like there was no tomorrow and It never seemed to bother her. It was when she turned fourteen, did things start to change for her. She started to despise the United…. Why should they be in control? She wanted to take them down. This lead her to search for the Reaver’s, she had joined a gang before them, but she lost interest, she wanted more. She had developed her powers and felt out what she could do. She found meditation helped her focus on inner searching and self realization. She discovered herself through herself. She discovered her abilities by pure chance, especially when an old gang member came back injured. Her healing ability came into light, the others were discovered purely by chance and by trying new things. Her Personalities became extremely more relevant during this time. You could tell if her Yang side had taken over or if her Yin side had control. You were more likely to experience Yang than Yin. But you would much prefer having regular old Angel around compared to Yang. Yang made normal Angel look like just that… and Angel. As much as she’d love to move up in ranks from being just a member, her little personality problem strongly prevents that. She’s better at taking orders and pulling through than giving them… unless you happen to be a witness to Yang. Yang has no problem giving orders at all. Roleplay Sample: It was midnight, roughly, as far as Angel could tell. She was getting better at guessing the times by how the night looked. It could be past midnight, but what did she care? She was still awake… and she highly doubted she’d be going to sleep anytime soon. She was to alert, to aware of everything that was going on. The Bad energy was seeping into her skin and keeping her hyper active. She swore she could shut it off, get a decent night’s sleep for once, but she was wrong. So there she stood, dangerously close to the edge of the roof, looking out at the city that was keeping her awake. She could feel the tickle that good energy gave her, but it was barely there. Somewhere in the city of hell there was good… but it was hidden. Why be good, when you could be oh so very bad? Why risk your life when you know that the side that you’d fight against would win? she thought. So as much as angel loved where she was in life, she wondered if things could have been different. What if her Manny had succeeded in teaching her right from wrong? Drilling Moral goodness into her? Would she be a Titan? Angel doubted it. Karma Killjoy wasn’t good, she was bad, she was bad to the bone. Backing away from the ledge Karma turned away from the city. She left it behind, telling her parents simply that she was joining a group that would help her get ahead in life. Of course her parents loved the concept. If only they knew |
This was what Karma hated about having Yin and Yang inside of her… she still had Yin. Her good side came out on occasion, but you mostly had to deal with Yang is a personality was going to dominate. Most of the time it was the true Angela you were dealing with. Sitting down and taking a deep breathe, it was time for meditation. Karma needed to clear her head from all this energy, and mediating seemed to be the only way to keep herself in check. Damn, her Manny had taught her well… maybe he’d have changed her life if only her parents hadn’t fired him. Oh well. You can’t change the past, you just need to find your future. Closing her eyes and focusing on her breathing, Angela let the real wolrd go and ventured into the world that was herself.
