Have a nifty idea for a site wide plot you think would be pretty awesome to rp? Like the bombing of the local mall, i'm fairly certain all the members of the site would like to get in on that action. Or maybe something more simple like a BBQ picnic for people with super powers, no killing allowed. Anything at all, post it below and if there's good feedback, or i simply love the idea, we'll have a go at making it an event for the site. Potential Events- Coming soon: The Shadows
Leslie has a mental breakdown with her powers and causes havoc.
- Coming eventually: Gazing into the past
The Titans get dragged back to 2100 and discover the downfall of their predecessors.

WELL...Little Leslie has been through far too much as it is. There is a nice chain of events to look forward to with her. The longer she is alone and suffering her current hardships, the more she must create friends to talk to and the more her crazies develop. The more her crazies develop the more frightened she becomes at them and at herself. The more frightened she is, the more her powers are at risk of appearing.
SO my event idea: "The Shadows" Little Leslie is terrified of many of her own demons and she attempts to run from them. Essentially she runs around crying wolf and in her panic, her manifestations go hogwild and hurt a lot of people. Who knows what sort of characters this could interest. For one she would be harming others unintentionally, and for two, her power is just on display for anyone to see.

My idea:
'Gazing into the Past'
When a mission goes wrong, the entire Titan team is sucked 400 years in the past. Forced to watch history play out, will they attempt to change the past? Or will they be helpless victims of time, forced to stay in the past until they can get back into their dysfunctional future?
Will changing the past destroy them or will it make things for the better.
Just a little idea I had for a site-wide plot.

Both most excellent ideas mates! Frosty, you have just given TTF it's first plot! A nice little arc to get members rping and discovering each others charries. If you want, jump on over to the site-wide plots board in the plotting area if you wish to develop the plot in a bit more detail and throw ideas around with everyone. Throw up a starter whenever you like  Arie, i actually really like your idea. In the course of making TTF i went through dozens of scenarios to try and explain why all the heroes of Earth fell, and why none took up their reigns yet villains multiplied exponentially. None of them felt quite right so that's why i left that part of the TTF universe blank. Indeed, most history from longer than 100 years ago has been lost from the world. Which could suggest that if the Titans wanted or had means too, they could do loads of time jumps throughout history and discover all sorts of stuff about the fall of their world. However since TTF is only just opening up shop, i would like to get the land of the present sorted before over complicating things by trying to explain the past. What i will do however is open up a thread in the site-wide plot board where members can debate on what the downfall of good was 400 years ago. That way, by the time there is a time traveling charrie or some time travel device uncovered in 2500, we will hopefully have settled on what exactly we'll be finding back in 2100. Keep the ideas coming folks! Imagination is the drug of choice for rpers haha. |
