Well, I think it would be fun to use this as an intro plot for characters. It can be sort of a "where were you when this was happening" Open plot. It can be a stuff hits the fan thread.
Basically It can start with Leslie Nash. She is a thirteen year old girl who has been through way too much at her age and she is developing schizophrenia. Her power is the ability to create solid objects from sunlight. Right now the girl is homeless and the thread can start with her having an episode and running from some imaginary thing. Her powers are emotionally triggered so in her distress, her powers will start going crazy on the streets of new york and displaying for everyone and hurting people.
Any character can jump into this thread as a witness to this and react as their character would. I imagine that there woul be law enforcement of some kind eventually hopping in to stop the madness, titans wanting to hide or help the girl, characters witnessing and not wanting to get involve. But this could be a good place to make your first in character post. Try to include as much as you can! Use your power in some way, make a decision true to your character's personality, describe what you normally where, explore what your character has been thinking about due to the history on your character sheet. What have they been doing, what go them where they are? Think of this as a first peril. What would you do about it?
