Regularly here I am seeing one united, one reaver, two titans and one neutral and an other on the site everyday. There are only some subplots going on between on two characters. We need an event to really get this place moving and I would say we are pretty balanced to do something. SO. We need an idea that would include everyone which is quite do able. Any ideas guys?

Hmm. There could be a city-wide blackout that is persistent enough to have some kind of ongoing cause. Since everyone needs electricity, everyone could try and track it and end up meeting along the way. Or they're part of the problem, but that'll end up with the same result. It's pretty simple, but could work...
Or we could have some kind of outside destructive evil (let's call it Cthulhu for now) trying to destroy the whole city, resulting in tenuous alliances between the various factions.
Or some mysterious figure sends letters to certain people detailing one secret that in theory only the recipient knows. The letter explains that the person must go to point X at time Y... Or some variation on that idea, to get everyone in the same place, at which point something weird happens (e.g. bodyswap, powerswap, time travel, etc).
Out of ideas for now, will think more on this.

Haha bodyswapping. Can you imagine CHRIS in a girl's body? So awkward! If Avia swapped with anyone with powers... she'd probably blow something up.
I like the blackout. It seems the most likely. Avia could do it. She could sabotage it on accident. Like, she had been trying to get rid of the United control around it and accidentally broke the generator or whatever while fighting.

Time Travel sounds interesting. It could link in with the entire thing about Gazing Into the Past. Or we could have a humongous 3 way battle.

Wow guys great ideas! Chris I really like the power outtage. Leslie is terrified of the dark and she would absolutely fricking lose it. A body swap? That could be really interesting. Who ever got Leslie's powers would have an interesting time with them as they are emotionally triggered. Also I like the idea of Avai accidentally doing that. Theres something nice to Neutral characters hitting that gray area because of accidentally doing little things. Maybe there is a combination of these things using this outside destructive evil? We could have the body switch, AND the power outtage and try to solve it in that state.
We are missing something very important. WHO'S RESPONSIBLE THIS? We need a villian that would have the ability to switch the bodies.
Also time travel still is a cool idea but at the current state with the chars we have not as easy to accomplish. I dont know where she went off to but Quin's character could have been great for this sort of thing.
On that note, feel free to advertise in places guys, our add is in the spread the word area, we really need some more people for getting some of these heartier plots under way.

If we can't find a convenient villain, there's always the possibility of making an NPC/semi-PC.
And I like the idea of combination. The blackout could have halted greater evil Z, so when they fix the power, the greater evil can swap bodies as stage one of... something. Or something. Because the characters will probably have ended up in more or less the same place, that'd explain why they're the ones who are the victim of the bodyswap. And in order to fix things, they have to go and actually find the greater evil (which presumably showed itself to some extent after power's restored, if only to gloat. And yes, maybe to give its victims a better lead than next to nothing). So that's one possibility. Or, as you said, Frost, we could combine the two and solve the blackout in the wrong bodies. But then there's the problem of who did that to this specific group of people (I know that the group of swapped could be larger, but then there's the problem of answering why these characters manage to swap so neatly, instead of messing it up by swapping with complete randomers).
It partly depends on how long we want this event/plot to go on for, though. With the latter option, it feels like things would be shorter. With the former option, things could go on for a while... Probably not a bad thing, though.
Going back to the idea of time travel, it's not unlikely. Some characters could come from the future, not the other way around. I know Chris is going to try building a time machine, he thinks it's a fantastic idea. The reason could be worked out, though I think it's a better event for next time. With the blackout event, characters who don't know each other can meet, making future events that bit more interesting. Less possibility for that with time travel as things are, I think...
Anyway, that's speculation. I'm going to stop typing now.

I like all of the ideas, but I like the bodyswap and the blackout the best. Quinn would be totally freaked out by all of it and she'd be like "I WANT MY POWERS BACK!"
Also, time travel's cool. If Quinn can help with that in anyway, she'll be glad too.

I like the idea of Avia getting a hold of anybody's powers. She could definitely do some damage to the United and the Reavers with some powers. But if she wound up in a weaker body, like Chris', she'd be so ticked. Whoever got her body would also be stuck with a double life. It'd be a great way for the Titans to learn what her secret identity is. Unless it went down like this:
Avia: Don't you EVER look in a mirror. Helmet on. No mirrors. Person in Avia's body: I have to wear this stupid thing all night? Avia: Helmet on. Or I discover what kind of damage this voodoo power does to your body. Person in the body of the Person who's in Avia's body: Hey!
As for time travel, that would be a really neat way to explore where we want this universe and the character's to go. Chris could come back in time for whatever reason, so some of us could utilize our character's adult selves/older personalities.

On one hand, I know that Quin was talking about a kidnapping at an earlier date. maybe this could be an extension of said kidnapping. She is kidnapped, her powers used to try to mess with the memory threads of the titans (currently chris and andreth.) Leslie witnessed the kidnapping and followed out of curiosity. Maybe Avia heard something about "a memory erasing gadget" that lets say (the culprit to be named is using?) Good way to include everyone in this thread anyway
said gadget goes haywire, bodies are switched, everything is a mess

I'm loving these ideas. The kidnapping thing could be a great way to start. If Chris were confused, provided he had enough memories, he would probably call Avia. Even if he didn't know why, it seems like the kind of thing he'd do. But what about the United/Reaver crews? How are they involved? One of the groups could have been the kidnappers, I guess, but how does the other fit in? Or, if there's another group, how do the United and Reavers groups fit in?
As for the time travel, potential second event?

yeah we got teh good an neutral hammered out, but we need to get the evil ness worked on. Heres the problem. All of the baddies just sorta went away. I haven't seen Karma around at all, Lynette posted in the away, and I think Luz is very busy right now.

That is a problem, but if/when they come back for the event, it'd be kind of unfair for them not to have anything to really do. Plus, if people join after that and/or make characters with those alignments, they'll be somewhat excluded, too.
So I guess what we need is some kind of 'optional' slot i.e. if people who fit into those alignments are around, they have a spot in the event but if they aren't there, it doesn't drastically slow down or screw over the event itself.
Since there are so few people, it might be easier for those away/not present to suggest their own roles when they do come back, so that we can fit them in at the time. Having an optional slot is a good idea in theory, but if there aren't any good ideas for one, then it's pointless.
The only idea I have is that the group responsible for the kidnapping has decided to enlist some help from the Reavers and/or United (though just the Reavers seems more likely to me). Not the most inspired idea, but oh well.

The United could be the ones who have the weird 'memory erasing gadget'. It would be how she could have heard about it and would be able to include at least Luz, upon return.

Good idea. And the Reavers are in with the kidnapping for the lolz?
Anyway, I think we should get this event started ASAP. If there's anything I can help with, let me know, Frost.

one thing though. Wouldn't the reavers outright refuse to work with the united and kidnap for them. I think it might be better if they are there to steal the gadget for themselves. This could potentially be a terrifying thing for the titans and neutrals who were affected by the gadget as well because while their bodies are switched, the source is on the move.
