What is a super?
A super, also called an abnormal, mutant, powered being, etc, is a person who has developed super powers as a result of the Kailani effect. Supers first started appearing in 2012, but new supers are developing powers every day since then. Generally powers awaken at the beginning of puberty ie around 12 or 13 years of age, but can occur in people of all ages.

What is the Kailani effect?
In 2012 humanity experienced a massive leap forward in it’s evolution. For a reason yet to be identified by science, people all over the world started to develop super powers. This phenomenon became known as the Kailani effect. It is the Kailani effect that activates the powers in all supers.

What are the Reapers?
The Reapers are a group of abnormals that have come together originally in response to the creation of the Storm Riders. Their original aim was to use their powers for their own gain, however as mutant animosity has increased over the years, the Reapers have changed their goals to super superiority and the extermination of the human race.

What are the Storm Riders?
Often referred to simply as the Riders, this group was originally contracted by the government in 2012 to form a new department. They are structured much like the FBI, receiving funding, training, equipment, and support from the government in order to keep control over the Reaper threat. In recent years their job has moved more towards keeping the peace and trying to combat the advances of both the Reapers and SOH.

What is SOH?
Soldiers Of Humanity is a human group that aim for the destruction of all supers. They are the human equivalent of the Reapers and the 2 parties often engage in battles. SOH is also secretly being supported by the government who are funding, supplying, and occasionally training it’s members.

And this relates to Teen Titans how exactly?
TTF is an AU site which was inspired by the Teen Titans TV show. In our rp-verse the superheroes that kids grow up reading comics about and seeing movies of were limited solely to the Teen Titans. Hence, when people started developing powers in 2012, it was the stories of the achievements of the Teen Titans that encouraged some supers to work for justice and peace. The Storm Riders arose as a result of this influence, and their goals and methods constantly strive to live up to the Teen Titan standards.

Can i Rp a Canon?
Sorry, because of our unique plot canon characters are simply that, characters. They don't exist in the real world of TTF. Likewise neither do magic, cyborgs, or aliens.

Can my human character be a Rider or Reaper?
At this point in time, no. Your character can tag along with a Rider squad and work with them as an advisor and teacher from the CIA for example, but they would not technically be an official Rider member, and would still fall under the Human member group. It is doubtful your human would get anywhere near the Reapers considering their aim is the downfall of mankind.

What does } { mean?
Those symbols are a side effect of a code i have put in that lets you give your thread a description as well as a tittle. The } { separates the title from the description in the new topics thread, and in the title box when editing your post. Is.
