Lynn steps had a childish edge to it. This was mostly because she doesn't have any where to be and nothing to do. Everything was at a stand still for her at the moment. She didn't even have to be at the mall but it was first place she could think of to come to.
No clubs were open this early so that wouldn't work.
Lynn's eyes looked over every person she passed, all doing their own thing. Some would feel lonely to be by themselves in the crowded area but Lynn was perfectly content to just be among them. Being lonely with others around was so much better than being alone and lonely. At least here there was a chance she wouldn't end up alone.
Without really thinking about it she started to hum as she walked on with her hands behind her back. A few looked at her as they passed. Her voice seemed to be attracting them to her. She paid no heed to the crowd starting to slow around her, listening to the little tune she hummed.
She sat down on a bench by herself as she continued to hum the little tune, her voice resonating with the ones close enough to hear it. Lynn closed her eyes and leaned her head back with a smile playing across her lips, not caring about the people stopping and walking towards her.
When there were a few gathered around her she stopped humming, the people who were attracted by her voice suddenly looked around questionably before overlooking how they were pulled there and went back to their business. If she had been full on singing almost everyone in the small plaza would have been pulled to her. A hum was all she needed to attract about 5 to 6 people without drawing too much attention.
Lynn kept up this trend of pulling people in and letting them go. She liked to call this people fishing. She caught a few then let them all go to try for a better catch, though she didn't truly plan on keeping any. Lynn had actually thought of performing here for the fun of it but she had been scolded that it would attract too much attention.
She pulled in another group then let them go as she sighed. Her short wavy blond hair was draped behind her as she continued to look up at the ceiling. The bench had enough room for another beside her and she decided that if someone sat there she would engage in conversation without a doubt. She wanted company on this little bench whether they were attracted by her voice or her looks didn't matter to her. Company was Company after all.

Andreth found himself in the mall. Why was he here? He did want a change, that was for sure. But he didn't like the large amounts of people here, it suffocated him and made him feel like he was being crushed. However, he did want to see more and apparently, he decided to go to the one place where there seemed to be tons of people. He really needed to rethink about where he visited.
He walked aimlessly around, trying to find a way to spend his free time, which he had a lot of. He found himself having a lot of free time nowadays. This was probably due to the fact that he didn't have to worry about surviving. While on the streets, he had to worry about food, water, shelter and all the basic requirements for living. This took up most of his free time when he was on the streets. But now, he didn't have to worry about food, it's already provided. So was water and shelter. This left him a lot of free time, and he had no way to spend it.
So he decided to explore. He rarely got a chance to do this when he was on the streets, due to the fact he was so preoccupied with surviving, stuff like exploration was the least of his worries. But now, there was the whole of New York to explore. The thought of it excited and intrigued him as he now had the time to look at places he had never seen before. Thinking about it now, he was regretting coming here. There were so many people, Andreth wasn't used to it. He kept on being carried away by them, causing him to blindly walk through crowds, unsure of what to do.
It was then that he heard it. Someone was humming. Normally, Andreth would've ignored the humming and just made his way on through, doing his normal business. But this was different. He couldn't not ignore it. It overwhelmed him, causing him to want to follow the sound. And that was what he did. He followed the sound, as if in a trance. He had no control over it, he was forced to follow the source of the humming. He eventually reached the sound of the humming and found a woman, sat on a bench. She seemed to have attracted 5 other people as well, obviously entranced by the humming as well.
She then stopped. He suddenly regained control over himself. Andreth knew something was up. He noticed how the others were confused, obviously wondering how the hell they got there. There was something about this woman and her song. It seemed to have a power over people, causing them to stop what they were doing and follow the source of the music. She was a mutant. Or at least, he thought she was. How else could she of distracted Andreth so much? It seemed to be the only logical conclusion.
While the others went away and went back to their normal business, Andreth went and sat next to her and gave her a stern look. It wasn't a good hobby to make, luring innocent people as if it was some sort of game. It irked him, but he didn't want to say that just yet.
"Don't you think you should be using your mutant powers for something other than playing games with humans?" He said to her. He knew she was a mutant, there was no denying that. He waited, curious as to how she'll react.

Lynn continued her game for a bit. She had a smile on her face as she pulled in people and let them go. She felt like the moon, bright and controlling the tides far below her. She felt in control and it made her happy. But she was slowly becoming bored of controlling the tides. She started drawing people in with more space between each pull. She had just let go of what she was sure would be her last "batch" when she caught a keeper, it seemed.
The keeper sat down beside her and gave her an almost irritated look. Well this is curious~ She gave him a sweet innocent smile before the words left his mouth. When they did, the smile was replaced with a stunned look. She blinked in quick succession with a still innocent look on her face. She turned her head slightly and put her pointer finger to her chin and a playful smile came to her face.
"Playing games? Was that what I was doing?" She looked away thoughtfully. "Hm... I guess you might be right. Humming can be considered a game. Though I'm not sure what you mean by mutant powers. Humming makes me a mutant?" She gave another innocent but playful smile. "I learn something new everyday."
She started tapping her foot to a beat only she could hear. She had heard a parody song of another that she liked and even now, it was stuck in her head. She wanted to sing it out loud but that would draw too much attention. And she so loved attention too. At least she had caught someone who could relieve her of her lack of drawing a crowd to her.
If she got too bored she could just teleport back to her dull room until this guy decided to back off. She would need to get to know him a little first though. Darn limitations, keeping me from my fun...
